Awesome birth! LOVE the montage, made me want another bub too. I wish I had pics of me during labour though. My friend is planning a home waterbirth Feb next year and I'm going to be there with her, looks amazing. He's a big boy, but just gorgeous.

Ps... love the song too and interested in hearing about the home schooling someone mentioned. Oh and where in Bris are you?

Wow, that was beautiful! My bubba boy was 11pd 2 oz and I managed to birth him with no pain relief, spent the whole labour in the water except the end, I chose to birth on my knees and I was so proud of myself too! I had to laugh about when you thought that maybe a hospital and an epidural would be a good idea! I chose to birth at a hospital that does not offer epidurals at all, and if I wanted one it meant getting in the car and driving 40 minutes to the next hospital. As the pain took hold, a little bit of fear set in and I kept telling myself how stupid I was to think that I could do this with no pain relief, and I briefly thought about making a run for the car....but I calmed myself down and got on with the job. And I will never forget the moment when we finally weighed him (I wouldn't let anyone take him from me for ages and ages), and they said he was 11lb, my heart and soul just soared to think what amazing things our bodies can do! Well done hon, what a beautiful birth!

Okay, I just watched the montage and I have lots of tears....it brought back so much of my son's birth. What an empowering story.
