Huge congrats Mel - I can't believe I missed this!!

What a great birth you had, all down to your efforts. You are right to be so proud of yourself. Hopefully I'll be asking for tips soon.

Just wanted to congratulate my wifey Arimeh for such an awesome effort and composure throughout Sahti's birth.

She did an amazing job, with great preparation for this birth, read book after book after book, made notes for herself (and me)......just basically did her homework, empowered herself and used that power/knowledge to do what she wanted to do, and did it fantastically.......one couldn't be prouder of her.

My job as her support couldn't have been easier......mainly because only once did I really need to give her 'pointers' from our 'cheat sheet' that she made. She really did make the birth hers.

So if you are inspired by her (or whatever you want to call it) for your own birth etc.....take this from her...

Do as she did and educate yourself to the max.
    Knowledge definitely is power.
Acquire all you can, and use it.

once again my love, congrats and I am so very proud
