Woohoo what a birth. I'm sure that will take awhile to process. I am sorry you were left on your own all night, not a nice feeling. Nice that your dh caught your daughter but scary it happened so fast. Congratulations

enjoy your babymoon hun ... a massive congratulation

its up to you but I would consider writing a letter of complaint to the hospital - they should NOT have left you without a check up that sounds very very wrong IMO.

Wow you did a fantastic job. What a shame, your experience ws marred by your treatment at the hospital.

Lovely name too, even if it can't be shortened to Libby Lou

Lol. I was trying to remember who suggested Libby Lou!!

That was her name up until 2 weeks beforehand when DH suggested Adele.

    Maybe next girl

Huge congrats again! What a great story and a quick birth! Shame about the lack of empathy from the hospital staff but sounds like you did a fab job without them anyway

Congratulations!! Great news hun - Adele is a gorgeous name too. A big pity they didn't check on you, that's appalling, your poor DH must have been beside himself worrying about you, but you proved 'em Good catch Daddy!

Enjoy your fantastic new relationship with your little girl!
