I just had to share this, I worked in a nursing home for jewish people while at uni and I had a lovely lady Sophia, who was sadly suffering from severe dementia. She was a Holocaust survivor and she still had her serial number tattooed on her. I used to do the night shift and she would always wake at night screaming for her mother and father and I would have to settle her she would swallow what she would call "tablets" but there were just mentos mints but it was our ritual and it would put her straight to sleep. I watched a documentary on cable today about Auschwitz and it made me recall about one of her stories of her mother helping deliver a baby in the night inside the camp, I would just put it down to her demented ramblings but something on this show made me think twice so I googled it! funny enough I found this story. Could be coincidence, could not, but it is an amazing story and I could not not post it. I have never linked anything before so sorry mods if I have done it wrong or it is in the wrong forum.
