Wow - I can't believe an entire year has passed.

I read this back and it feels like yesterday. Adele's birth changed me - I didn't realise it or notice it at the time, but as time has gone on and I look back at that birth - it did. I learnt to believe in myself again. I was empowered. I did it.

This past year has gone by in the blink of an eye - one moment I was snuggling a tiny, wriggling newborn, inhaling her smell, touching her plump cheek, and now she is a funny, feisty, adventurous one year old. She is such a beautiful little girl... and now typing this I'm starting to miss her, so I'm going to bed to snuggle up beside her and fall asleep listening to her breathing.
