I too found the pushing more comfortable than contractions! Although I did scream like a banshee the whole time I was pushing. I think it wasn't pain just the whole losing it and letting your body take over I guess. ( also didn't help that I was totally unprepared to push as I had been repeatedly told by my stupid midwife that I had at least 7 hours to go before I would need to push, so the shock of what I and she thought was a poo turning rapidly into pushing out a baby may have had something to do with the whole screaming thing!!! )

Thanks for all your warm congrats.

On reflection everyone says you forget the pain, I'm not sure that I've forgotten it just doesn't matter any more.

as for 8 out of 10 pain well I think probaby every time I pushed for the hour. (about 2 minutes every minute I guess)

I found out yesterday little man fractured his collar bone but it doesn't hurt him and will heal in 3 months. I guess that's when I got my stiches
