    the birth of Carol Rose

    Birth story of Carol Rose.
We had been at my Mums all day and stayed for tea I remember lot of trips to the loo but didnt think anything of it.
7.30pm We got home and I said I was going to bed DH said he would play the playstation (in our room as well) Was absouluty fine till

8-8.30pm started to get a bad back ache so ran a bath and hopped in not long later DH came and asked if I was right then he rang the hospital.
The midwife asked how far apart the contrations were. Contrations!! Were told to come strait in.

We got there at about 9pm and shown a room to be checked was put on a moniter for awhile then the did an internal to check Dilation. Was 4 cm so
moved to the labour ward. The midwife ran the bath for me got in and she said if you feel like pushing get out.

I was in there for about 10-15mins and had to get out. Rang the bell to alert her and the look on her face was priceless "you cant be ready to push yet
its to soon" She checked me and said "wow go for it" I started to push in earnist while she got everthing ready and the 2nd midwife.
I remember saying "I cant do this" when the head was coming out. she told me to stop and pant and turned to get the other things ready.
DH said to late the babys out. I hadnt even pushed she just slid out. It was the best sence of relief to have her out. The midwife grabed
and passed her to me and I looked to see what she was. No tears and I was in the shower 2 hours later after a long cuddle and feed.
