    The birth of Molly Asha

Hey ladies, seeing as I'm new I thought I would fill you In on Molly Asha's birth story

It was the morning before my due date and I got up to do one of the many toilet runs that we do! I then got back into bed to then have my waters break, this was at 5:30 am, my contractions then started at 8am, I called the hospital and went in at 4pm.. To have them not believe me! They kept me in overnight as I was clearly in a bit of pain (which they tried to say was a bug??) it was possibly the longest night of my life.. My dp was back at the hospital at 5am by my side, I was then examined at 10:30 am where they then realised that yes her waters had broken and I was now 4cm dialated.. This was now more than 24hours after my water had broke :-/ they then let me labour for an hour on my own but my labour wasn't progressing so I was then put on a drip, it got to about 5pm when they told me I was 9cm dialated but I was going to have to have a c-section as Molly was posterior positioned and she wasn't coming out.. I was pretty annoyed as I had done all of this drug free and then all of a sudden they were going to be pumping me full of drugs lol,the c-section itself was really cool and went smoothly, my dp loved it and was so amazing through the whole orperation, then at 6:42 pm Molly Asha was here weighing 9lb 2oz (big girl) thè best feeling was when my dp bought her over to me with tears in his eyes and all he said was "our little princess is finally here" it was the most amazing day of my life and I wouldn't change a single thing about Molly's birth, I experienced so much and had the most amazing support from my partner and mum. And according to dp I took it like a champ haha

Oh thank you nirenotrom! We originally had ruby picked but then one day I said ooh what about Molly, dp loved it and we weren't allowed to change it lol, her middle name we edited a little, dp wanted Ashlee and I wanted something more uncommon, so we met halfway and came up with Asha
