A great story Gab, well written too! I felt like I was there with you! Your Ob probably wanted you to have the epidural as they lower blood pressure, given your condition most of them like to do that. Of course, once you had the epidural, you would have been monitored in the bed, as with lower blood pressure, thats less oxygen going to the baby than normal too - synto does the same thing, lessens oxygen due to the more intense, stronger contractions. Amazing stuff how quickly you dilated, your uterus must have been very sensitive to the synto!!
With boys too, it's amazing how quick they stack on the weight, I was so worried after having a girl who was a poor weight gainer, and here's my boy putting on at least a pound each MCHN visit!!! I can't wait to see more photos as he grows and again I am so, so happy to hear of the birth of Tomas, it's been wonderful seeing you join BellyBelly and go through struggles and highpoints, then the birth of your son.
