Awww Kim, you got me crying. I'm so happy that your little man is here and that you had such a wonderful birth. Drug free is great isn't it. Have a great babymoon.

Actually, just a little bit of 'mind' so that it doesn't interfere with 'matter' and 'matter' can get on with what it's doing

i'm assuming from your story, that either one or both of your girls were c-sections? or was it the drug free part that was the "bit you always wanted".

i'm so glad you got the nb skin on skin time, that is my regret, i would have given anythign for that.

wow, so fast, makes my head spin thinking how quickly Z arrived for you!

hope your stitches heal well. Anaethetic takes a long time to work on me, i hate it cos then i can feel things you're not supposed to (i had it happen during my c-section).

Your doula sounds fantastic, how wonderful to have her support.

thanks for sharing Kim, amazing birth story.

Kim - well done on such a wonderful birth of your baby boy. I loved it when you said he sucked for dear life, what a great little fella! It is the beginning of a beautiful love affair with the BBs that most men have forever. Thankyou for sharing and I hope I have the strength to tell myself "I can do this" the next time I am in labour.
