Wow, what an intense experience that must have been.

Huge congrats on the safe arrival of Amelia. What a fighter she must be!

Be gentle with yourself Lys - it is nothing you did or didn't do, it is not your fault.

Thank you for sharing that with us.

I was in tears reading that! You did an amazing job. So happy you went to your appointment and she arrived safely and that you are ok.

It would have been very scary, especially as it happened all so quick and on your own
Congratulations again on the birth of your teeny princess.
My thoughts are with both of you.

It will always be one of the scaries days of your life but also one of the most joyous, particularly once she is home in your arms & you can cuddle her when you think of the day she was born.

So terrifying when it all cascades into a scenario you never in a million years expected to find yourself in.

So sad that she came so early, so sad that your DH couldn't be with you during that time, so sad that she is in NICU & not safe in your belly for Christmas.

So happy that she is so darn beautiful, this journey is one not everyone will take, your time in NICU will be full of the most amazing highs & some lows but it will be the start of your journey as parents.

Congratulations LynsDan, Merry Christmas to little Amelia & may your journey be smooth & safe
