    Mel,

So proud of you hun, you overcame so many fears and you did it, that's right YOU DID IT!!!!! I was so darn excited when I read the announcement and have now had the pleasure of reading your story.

Pix and I were chatting on Saturday evening (little did we know it was not long before you went into the birth centre ) hoping that you were able to find you own "space" to achieve this special goal of yours.

You will be an inspiration to so many VBAC'ers and VBA2C'ers, and to have done it all in a birth centre is just awesome!!!

Your a legend girl and glad that you have birthed your way, even if you did go through "irrational" moments, we all do in labour, well most of us it is all part and parcel, and good on you for fighting your fears and just going with it all.

    MWAH!!!! xxoo

Oh hun, if you were still up here I'd be giving you the biggest hug! You did soooooo, sooooo great! I know the pain in the front you're talking about, felt it with Elijah too and FREAKED out. Lost my "place" and stalled a bit. Don't be hard on yourself about that, it's very normal to have that fear. I remember looking at my midwife and pleading her to help me that I just couldn't do this anymore, I'm too tired.... she got me back on track, bless her!

You were great! I'm so proud of you Eden is adorable and her name is too. Love you

This is the first time I have read your birth story & I have tears streaming down my face - it was really quite funny at times! Well done on your VBA2C! I remember being very vocal & telling my DH that I was glad nobody else was in the birthing suite at the same time as me

Wow! What a story! Although it kind of scares me more in a way to know how hard it is going to be when it's my turn (16 weeks)- It's good to know that all the fears I know I am going to have, someone else had them too, and that there's an explaination for the different pain- other than a rupture... Which is my biggest fear! I am such a baby and when it comes down to it, I am probably going to act in the exact same way or worse. But reading your story, the fact that you DID IT makes up for all the embarassment in the world. I hope I have a VBAC story to tell that is as successful as yours...

You are brilliant and should be incredibly proud of yourself for achieving your VBA2C!

I was reading the VBAC stories (as I'm planning for one next time I get pregnant) and your story is truely inspirational.
