Fortunately my DD held her weight steady after birth cos she really didnt need to be getting any smaller than that. Thats a bugger that Elle lost so much weight after.
They didnt show me the placenta but i remember the OB commenting on how small it was and they then told me how much it weighed (which meant nothing to me, so i asked lol), being overdue, your placenta was probably starting to break down by then.
Interestingly, i was full of water too!! I had the biggest belly i had ever had with any of my kids, so was shocked how little she was. She also kept flipping in and out of breech, sometimes several times a day, cos she had so much room in there since she was so little.
Very interesting this, i havent come across anyone who had this too before
