I too know the pain of not having your DH there for a birth but for me BHL was coming home on the 8th of june and DD2 came on the 6th... Nothing ever goes to plan when your DH's have to work away from home....

Well done to you brought tears to me eyes, I just hope for something so perfect the next we have a baby....

Thank you for all your lovely words.

Note that i only put the washing on as i felt well enough to do it LOL i got told off by the MW and DH when i tried to make my own cup of tea and toast....But you know, no one can make a cup of tea they way you like it LOL

I did say that next time i am having a home birth and then going to a 5 star hotel afterwards for a few weeks...but that was only at that 4 week mark where everyones eyes are popping out LOL

Wow- Milly, what a fabulous birth story. It brought happy tears to my eyes!! With DH delivering and a little boy to join your girls- could it have been any more perfect?
I can only pray that I can experience a birth like that one day. I tried really hard for a home birth with DS1, but it didn't work out for me. One day!!!!
