Congratulations on getting such a great birth! If only all women could be so well informed and prepared, the maternity ward would be a very different place. It always amazes me how many women get told they are wrong about when they should push, or that they will be having an epidural etc. Good on you for having the confidence to say no to the interventions when they were offered!

Absolutely agree with Mel! You did a FABULOUS job of birthing your baby and I love love love your story! It's so encouraging to first time mums I think and I can't believe they told you that you'd likely have an epidural... pfft to them and YAY to you
