I was irrational and felt completely out of control - and now its all over I feel embarrassed about how I acted, but terrified of the prospect of doing it again.
I know how this feels I was mortified after my last labour at the screaming and carrying on I'd done. I literally cringed when my ob came in to see me the next day and could not stop apologising I hardly made a peep when delivering DD but DS was totally different.

And here I am about to do it again...

You did a fabulous job. Don't discount the toll that the prolonged labour would have taken on you hun. You had a rough week or so leading up to her birth

Inertia - it sounds like you did an amazing job!!! I have screamed through both my labours and find it horribly embarrassing to admit to. I watched that Business of Being Born documentary a couple of weeks ago and felt immensly relieved to see that other women do it as well. It made me feel more normal.

I hope you are enjoying your little girl and getting plenty of rest.

    Thanks for sharing your story
