Firstly congratulations for listening to your body! 2ndly WOW i love both your girls names! Do you want more babies? Did your OB say anything about this? Could you just have a planned C/S early next time?
I think I just felt so happy to have made it through with both of us safe and healthy that I didn't have time to be a mess - however since writing the birth story a few other things have happened in my belly buddies group that have really made me feel incredibly lucky and blessed. I have spent quite a bit of time since then being very emotional about it all.

Thanks Milly! My OB said that her repair job was good for one more but she would have to deliver by c/s at 37weeks. However, we have made the decision that our family is complete and that another pregnancy would be way too stressful and fraught with anxiety so DP is booked in for the snip next month. No more babies for us!
Wow Nai what a close call you guys had. Well done on listening to your instincts. Welcome little Juliette
Wow, can't believe i only just saw your thread now ... Just AMAZING Nai ... Just AMAZING that's all i can say ... and that your instincts are your DD's saviour & i bet YOUR best friend now
Big hugs from Lorelle & lil Cendrinexox
Wow Nai, I am so so pleased that you did listen to your instincts. I had those instincts during my labour with Lilli Amba but did not listen hard enough. I totally agree when you get to hold that lovelly crying baby it does not matter one bit that you did not birth naturally.
I thank you for also sharing your story.
We still think about our little girl every day..
Many thanks nikki
Hey Missymoo, sorry to ask this here but are you the same Missymoo from NA. I am nikki from GF nappies?

Nikki, your story was one of the main things that helped me to recognise the symptoms of what was happening - thank you so much for sharing, it really did make a difference!
Wow Nai, you most certainly do deserve a medal!!! That was such a touching story to me, I'm so glad that your outcome was that both you and your baby are safe, healthy and happy! Life is such a precious thing!![]()
Wow wee- what an experience. What a shock!
How brave you were! thanks for sharing
(Just saw the link to this in another thread aka posting this over a year after the actual event)
I honestly really needed to read this with my attempt for a VBA2C coming up next April - the more info I have the better. I especially appreciate and understand your outlook on not getting your VBAC, you and your DD's life is more important than that.
Thanks for sharing Nai xoxo

Thank you for posting this. It's a big help as I try for my own VBAC.
