Thank you all for the wonderful and lovely comments you have made. I loved writing out Kyson's birth story and it's amazing how many things I'm still remembering about the whole process, or having to ask my DH for details about, lol. I even had to ask him if he cut the cord! I assumed he did, but at the time it was done I was so lost in Kyson's newborn eyes, that Big Bird could have come in and cut the cord and I would have been none the wiser!

Kyson continues to do wonderfully and already I can't remember what life was like without him. I love and adore him more each day!

what a wonderful birth for you I got to pull my little Chase up and onto my chest too, the MW stood there but she didn't touch him, she let me do it and it was amazing. I actually really enjoyed his birth

He is just adorable!! I love that photo in your ticker!

Mel, isn't it amazing knowing that you were the very first person to ever hold your baby? I know that in most cases the doctor only holds the baby for a couple of seconds before it's placed on the mums chest, but I just found it so special knowing that I was the very first person to hold him

yup it is That is part of the reason why it was so special I think. It wasn't someone else handing him to me but it was me, guiding him into the world. Something that I will always remember.
