The most beautiful boy in the world

This is my positive cesarean section birth..

The night before was torture, knowing my beautiful baby boy was going to be in my arms in a matter of hours made the time drag, i could barely sleep i was waking and looking at the clock every hour and finally time came to get up...

We arrived at the hospital at 6:35am and a nurse was waiting (we were a whole 5min late) and she took us to my room where i was gowned and awaited the arrival of my midwife, she was there at 7am on the dot, she placed my catheter and we walked to the operationg theatre where the OB and staff were awaitin our arrival, My ob who is also an anethitist placed my drip, wow what pain that was, I have crappy veins and it took him 3 shots to get it in, DH was in another room putting on his scrubs, just gorgeous lol.

Dh finally came in and we were taken into the next part of theatre, the operating room, I was put on monitors, I felt so calm and at ease, I was so ready to meet my baby boy, Dr fitz put the local in and then the spinal and I was laid down, curtain up, Dh by my side and dr fitz kept rubing my forhead making sure i was ok, he kept saying are you sure ok you seem to calm are you dizzy, I kept reassuring him I was perfectly fine and ready for my baby, I started to feel the pushing and pulling, I just lay there still and calm looking into DH's eyes and he was just sitting there looking at me with admiring eyes, and whispering i love you & not long now, more pushing and pulling and DH asked if he could watch them pull him out so when it was time he looked over the curtain and our little mans head was out and his tounge was poking out like he was trying to suck, they pulled him cut the cord which i was told was really thick and hard to cut meaning i had done all the right things throughout my pregnancy and it was a healthy placenta & cord. They handed our little man to his very proud daddy who broke down in tears, our little man is a spitting image of DH's dad who passed away from cancer in 2007, Dh was amazed and so happy. it made my heart melt.
DH then went with them while he was weighed and i was stitched up, they brought him back and he took to my boob immediatley with no attatchment problems or anything and he has fed beautifully ever since, my perfect birth..
