Whoa- good on you for hanging in there through what sounds like a very difficult experience. I'm so sorry to read you were treated like that.
Take comfort in knowing that next time will be different for you. You will be more informed and experienced, and will not be bossed around so easily (hospital staff have a tendency to do this - particularly if it is your first baby and you are young).
I recommend investing in a good midwife or doula to give you continuity of care and to be your personal advocate to convey your wishes to staff when you are in pain and unable to speak for yourself.
