Thank you for sharing the birth of Thomas. I had a similar experience when the ob did an internaly on me. First she told me that I had not dialated (after 8 hours of labour) then she had a second go and she told me that I was ready to push..It was baby's head not my cervix she was feeling

Ah TMTM (or should we now call you JTRA - Just The Right Amount? ), you always make me smile. What a wonderful birth. I suspect that your cervix might also have been terrified by your horrible midwife and clamped shut as soon as she came near you with her waggling fingers.
