Congrats on the wonderful birth of your daughter...what an encouraging birth story. I loved the bit where you said you felt like a hero

I am dissapointed for you that they disregarded your rights at times by not asking permission to do things- but I'm pleased for you that you havnt let it ruin what appeared to be a loving experience for you and your DH.
