I went to Lyell Mac- I was very impressed with them but now that Modbury is closed, I have a feeling that they will be not so equipped to deal with all the extra incoming births. I think they may be extending the women's services though but not sure of the details....

Also, my first midwife was an ex Modbury one & gee was I glad to have the change of midwife to a Lyell Mac one!!!!!

Thanks Lullabyblue, i am going through the midwifes at the Lyell Mac and was hoping thats were you had your bub. I had both my DD and DS at the Lyell as well and have had nothing but great care and service from them. Glad you got to have the birth you wanted.
