Audax you are the heroine of this birth with a heroic birth team!!! Congratulations to you & your gorilla on Eleanor's amazing arrival.

I loved DH's line about not being a fan of 'daylight obstetrics' LOL freakin' brilliant! Your story brought so much back to me & shows how an empowered birth is such a wonderful thing. I could hear your roars hun xx

Oh i cant believe i havent seen this earlier, but then again it was so nice to read it now! I have tears in my eyes and i think really that is one of the best birth stories i have ever read. Any shorter and you would not have done it justice. I am so happy that you had lovely care and that you made informed choices for you and your family! Congratulations to you and your DH. Eleanor is a lovely name!

Oh i wish i could give you a real life hug.

Hope you had a very merry christmas with your little girl yesterday...

I'd forgotten how long this was... And how magical. Birth stories are the best

My little philosopher turns three today, and is still daydreaming and delightful.

Luna I didn't read this three years ago. It's such a beautiful, warm story and Eleanor is a gorgeous name.

Haha, and I almost made it all the way through without crying.

    Then I read the comments.
