Awesome! Well done mum and daughter![]()
My first birth was long...looooong and painful, very painful, but a normal birth. My second birth (little girl) was very different. I was in active labor and my doctor told me that she was face up, or Sunnyside Up. At first it freaked me out but he told me not to worry. Apparently pushing would not do any good if she's face up so I needed to lay on my side in a fetal position until she moved into position. So after me relaxing and laying on my side for a few hours she moved down and it took three pushes for her to arrive. Talk about totally different. She actually made it easier for me. Gave me a good scare but made my labor quite pleasant. LOL Interesting to see how this time will go.

My sunny side up birth was alot less painful than my normal birth when it came to pushing
I thought so too and I thought I'd get bad back labour but I just had my tens machine and I was lying back chilling with my synto drip I thought it would take longer and muco things around cause of his position but it was 5hours from start if synto to baby and he was my first and he came in 2 pushes but in saying that my friend had sunny side up baby and she had a 2day horrible labour that almost ended in a c/s
Oh wow, poor thing.
