I'm sure there's not a dry eye in here BG. You have had incredible courage and endurance throughout this whole journey and your body fought you every step of the way. Your strength of mind gave you the wisdom to see out your final decisions. You were in control, you carried this baby to full term and suffered every step of the way to fight for her. You needn't ever have doubted the amazing job you did and I would have taken every drug on the shelf! You are a true inspiration. To you and your wonderfully supportive DH, congratulations, thanks for sharing and enjoy your cherished Emerald.xoxo

... and he told me he was proud of me and what i'd achieved. he agreed that making a stand about my own health being just as important as the baby was one of the strongest things he'd had a patient do in a long time, and said he regretted he'd not been the Ob on call the night before as he'd have made sure i felt more supported through that part of my labour.
Just re-read this BG, I'm sure I did read it a while back but in re-reading, the bit above stuck out for me... when I read that I got goosebumps. What an amazing woman you are!

isn't it funny how you forget what you have achieved until you read back through it again? i haven't really thought about this until today when i was looking for the correct link for my sig. i remember it all, but i needed a reminder of what we managed to do (apart from the little red head reminder that is hiding under the blanket on the couch beside daddy, cos mummy mentioned bed lol)
