thread: Anyone taking/taken Aldomet for high BP during pg?

    I'm currently on Aldomet and have been since 20yrs old for Chronic Hypertension, at the moment I'm on 12 tablets a day, yes you read that right, 12! I have been lucky, no side effects. The tablets will however make you tired because your blood pressure will drop, it does make you sleepy.

    Good work. I found that my BP took a few weeks to get back to normal post baby. I stopped taking the tablets after a fortnight or so (kept forgetting!) and my BP went back to normal eventually.
