Absolutely. Because I had PE with Alex, I was on Cartia (low dose aspirin) from 12 weeks to 36 weeks. Basically it keeps your blood thin which assists in the control of high BP.
The other medication that you might be put on, is a type of beta-blocker, usually Labetelol in Australia. However, there are some side effects of this medication, usually associated with low birth weight, because (as I'm sure you already know) high BP or PE is the result of the baby not receiving enough nourishment from the placenta, and by lowering the BP you also reduce the amount of nourishment going to the baby.
I was given Labetelol from 16 weeks to about 30 weeks (if I recall correctly) with Ned.
