Hi,
Sorry you're having to go through this. Its so stressful..... and stress is the last thing you need!
I had elevated BP (130/90) at my 28wk appt. I had just had a 10min walk up hill to get to my appointment. I was surprised at the BP as before that it had been fine. So of course I got on the net and googled myself crazy. So needless to say next appt I was so anxious my BP was even higher. I had bloods done and all was fine. No protein in my urine either. My OB had me rest as much as possible. I also hired a BP monitor from the pharmacy and kept and eye on my BP three times a day. My BP was probably usually 125/85 when at home but at my appts I could feel myself stressing the my BP was about as high as yours![]()
Unfortunately you've just got to wait for the bloods to come back and then your OB will tell you what needs to happen. I asked my OB if I could go on BP tablets but she said no. I know other OBs have prescribed them though. Obviously all OBs are different in how they handle these things.
My advice 1) sit or lie with your feet up as much as possible 2) TRY to relax and just wait it out 3) ABSOLUTELY NO GOOGLING (I hope its not too late)
Things will work out just fine. On the up side... my OB told me BP problems are usually a 1st pg problem.
HTH
