15 month old suddenly off food....is this normal?

I know anything and everything can be 'normal' with a baby/toddler, but I guess I'm just after some feedback/experience from others.

My DD has always loved food. She always wants to eat, whether it's her meal or some of ours (if we are eating at a different time). It's not unusual for her to be the only child having two serves of lunch at childcare...

Anyway, the past two days she's gone completely off her food. She doesn't seem like she is hungry for anything (not even her bottles). Yesterday she ate perhaps 1/3 to 1/2 of what she usually does. Today I would go so far as to say she's barely eaten anything. Pretty much all that went in is a bottle this morning, the rest of her food has pretty much been thrown on the floor (except for a small amount of custard we tried after she wouldn't eat dinner - an even then I think she was just eating it cause she liked it as opposed to actually being hungry).

I think she's got a bit of an upset stomach (she's had a couple of really yucky poos the past couple of days) - although I'm not sure if they are so yucky because she's barely had any food to errrm fill them out.....

Any ideas on what's going on???

Maybe she is getting her molars? I know mine went off food and weren't themselves around molar time. I would wait a couple of days and perhaps if she is still not eating maybe visit the GP.

Thanks for the idea milka. I do think there is a bit of molar activity going on (she's got one already), but I didn't consider that idea due to the fact they have never bothered her before. I'll definitely keep that in mind though, and the doc visit too. Thanks

i reckon teeth too, that will give the littlies nasty poos too. my dd got the earlier teeth coming in pretty lightly, but the bigger ones seem to hit them harder.

DD is 16mos and has barely eaten for 2 weeks. She's cut 2 molars, an eye tooth and is cutting 3 more teeth.
    It's horrible.

Poor little darling is probably getting ill or cutting some molars.

Thanks for the info everyone. It seems I've underestimated these molars! It suprises me that she's just not hungry at all though! If I were her and had hardly eaten for two days I'd be starving lol

My DS just wants soft cold food when he is cutting teeth (still at 2.5).. He is loving tinned peaches that have been in the fridge..
