I have had to do a count down for my DD, so "10,9,8,7,,5,4,3,2,1 ta da! ok, no more milk" when feeding gets too much for me. I also used the Pantley Pull-Off techniques (from no cry sleep solution) to stop all night sucking.
DD was sick a few months back with a fever and my milk just couldn't keep up (i was pregnant), and so i introduced a drink bottle of water over night. When she would wake, we would offer the drink bottle first. She still has a drink bottle and when she wakes (she is now in her own bed), we show her where the drink bottle is. I think she must now find it herself now.
Could you make it more difficult for her to attach without it being a conscious act- wear a tighter top or extra layers. At least then you are both deciding to feed rather than it being automatic.
You could choose to make set times for feeds, try that for awhile and then if you want to cut these down.
