Antibiotics, baby's reaction, maintaining/increasing supply. Help please

Each course is 5 days so I might take this first course and see how I'm feeling at the end of it and maybe not take the follow up ones if it works out that it is giving her problems

Please, please don't do that.. Pnemonia does not disappear with a 5 day course of anti-biotics. Yes the symptoms might be gone, but the infection needs the full course prescribed, otherwise you will be back to square one and risk being hospitalised.

Just thought I'd update. Miss A has been so incredibly unhappy since I've been on the ABs. She obviously has an incredibly sore little tummy and has been having patches where she just screams and screams. Not too bad in terms of actual poo, but definitely very bad tummy pains and lots of farts.

Thanks DMB. You're right, I know you are, but I'm going to have to not start the next course and see how I go. I really can't do this to Miss A again unless I absolutely have to.

I took the last of the course this morning so I'm hoping by tomorrow night she is back to her usual self.

Hugs hun, I can sympathise as we were in the same boat with the girls and my last bout of mastitis. Just couldn't bear seeing them so unhappy.

Hope you are all good and well enough that all will be ok without the ab's

I didn't even know such a thing existed LL. Thankfully, touch wood, we had a MUCH better night last night so hopefully they've worked their way out of her system. I fill a kazillion times better than I did so if I take it easy we'll both be ok.

It was so nice last night to watch her sleep peacefully and have her only half wake with that gorgeous snuffle she does looking for a boob rather than the screeching she was waking with before.
