I was looking at an online store for nursing mothers and came across a "belly band" made for nursing mothers. (also useful for pregnancy, I guess, when you're not quite into mat pants, but can't do up your own.) Anyways, it is just a band of soft stretchy fabric, about 10 inches wide that you wear to cover your belly and back so you can comfortably lift your shirt to nurse. (without exposing all that lovely stretchy saggy tummy skin. ) Sounded like a good idea to me, but I was wondering if anyone here on BB has used one, and whether the band worked like it was supposed to, or whether it was a pain in the bum. (ie. wrinking, riding, sagging, not covering, whatever.) Any other suggestions for something that has the same effect? I've looked at some of the nursing tank tops, and they look lovely too, but around here, they are EXPENSIVE! $40-50 seems like too much to pay for a tank top to me! (Maybe I'll just have to break down and do it, and take really good care of it, so it lasts me a long time!)
Anyways, if you have something that worked well for you - let me know!
