best formula?

whats the best formula for a 7 week old. im supplementing her breast feeding. at the moment im using karicare gold.

I don't think there is such a thing as best formula, just the one that is best for your baby. All mine have been on different ones because some didn't sit well with their digestive systems.

I have only ever used one, but my son was having EBM as well... I gave him Bellamys Organic... he didnt even seem to know the difference!!
It was recommended to me by his surgeon in Sydney as a good one for EBM bubbas... but as Mel said, every baby is different, and it might take a few trials to find the one he likes/thrives on!!!

See if you can get some small samples and see which one your baby likes best. My DD was mainly BF but when she had formula I found Karicare was best for her. S26 often seems to be the first recommendation but I believe it upset DDs tummy TBH. It really is an individual thing. Try one for a few days and see how your LO reacts before trying a different brand though as swapping and changing formula all the time isn't good for them.

It really is a matter of trying them out. My older 2 finally settled on S26 Lactose Free and my 3rd wouldn't take any of it until she was 10 months old and she like the Bellamy's Organic.
