    Breast cooling pads?

Hi looking for soem advice with both DD's I had very painful engorgement and this time round Im looking at 'treating' myself to some breast cooling pds, the ABA has two brands one is the breast soother and the other is the boosom buddy. Has anyone used these before?

I cant be bothered getting cabage leaves and would like something I could keep on hand especially for those times when bubs suddenly has a long sleep and boobies get sore again not just for the initial engorgement and also if I am unlucky enough to get mastitis again. With my DD's I did the normal such as expresing to get rid of hardness, warm compresses when feeding, warm showers and expressing in the shower but I think being able to put something cool on my hot full boobies would feel nice

I have just gone through waiting for my milk to dry up after deciding to formula feed due to feeding problems and I had tons of milk making it feel like I would explode and the midwives filled newborn nappies with water and froze them and put in bra (the nappy keeps water in when melts so you don't get wet) was absolute godsend

I had them and loved them! But I never put them in my bra cause I was told by the midwives that it can caused blocked ducts I used to just rest them on my boobs and they were so relieving!!! I highly recommend the cooling to put out boobies that are on fire

I had them, used them, put them in my bra. Didn't need them often but they were nice to have when I did.

I had the green gel ones, can't remember the name - gave them away to another BFing mother when she needed them.
