Need some guidance re: BF'ing while pregnant & weaning

Georgia is 1 in one week and I can proudly say we are still breastfeeding. In the last month or so I realised she was still having about 6 feeds a day and was sleeping through so no overnight feeds. She wasnt looking for them but I was offering. I have stopped offering her a couple of the feeds and now is having about 3-4 feeds a day. She is eating 3 solid meals a day with occasional snacks in between. She has all of a sudden started eating great and heaps sometimes I think if we keep offering she will keep eating.
I am almost 14 weeks pregnant I dont think I want to tandem feed so I guess I want to have Georgia weaned well before the baby is due. I am happy to feed her morning and night if she will accept that. I dont really want to give her cows milk as a drink either. Will having two breastfeeds a day and solid meals be enough for her so that I wont have to give her cows milk. She eats cheese and yohgurt, lots of fruit and vegies, bread, meat, fish, tuna pretty much everything and anything.
I am sure I had heaps more questions to ask but my baby brain isnt working at the moment lol
Hoping someone out there can tell me their story or offer some advice.

Hi Salad, i found my ds1 self-weaned when i was 25 weeks pg with ds2. he basically just stopped asking for it and before i knew it, he would only have one every second day or so for a couple of weeks until it just stopped all together. apparantly it is quite common for them to wean at around this time in the pregnancy as the hormones change the taste of the milk. i would just keep gradually reducing the feeds and see what happens if i were you, as you are still quite early in the pg. can i ask why you don't want her to have cows milk?

Similar to Ginger, my DS1 self-weaned when I was about 20 weeks pg.

I think 2 feeds a day plus yoghurt and cheese should provide enough calcium. Cows' milk is not necessary as long as the calcium needs are met. You can find other high calcium foods here - Vegetarian Network Victoria - Complete Nutrient Summary - so you can include some of those in her diet as well just to be sure.

Thanks for the replies Ginger & Manta Ray.
Ginger the reason why I dont really want to give cows milk is that I dont really see any nutritional benefit in it, I know its a source of calcium but I just dont see anything else it is good for, she has cows milk in things and on her porridge etc. I am happy to give her a cup of milk if I feel she hasnt got enough calcium rich foods that day but I dont want to replace my breastfeeds with cows milk - I hope that makes sense I think I am rambing a bit.
Manta thanks for that link I will check it out now.
Also if Georgia is fully weaned can I still avoid giving cows milk if she is eating well?

Salad, yes, there would still be no need for cows' milk as long as she is getting 3 serves of dairy a day, or equivalent calcium from other sources.
