    Thanks for the replies Ginger & Manta Ray.
    Ginger the reason why I dont really want to give cows milk is that I dont really see any nutritional benefit in it, I know its a source of calcium but I just dont see anything else it is good for, she has cows milk in things and on her porridge etc. I am happy to give her a cup of milk if I feel she hasnt got enough calcium rich foods that day but I dont want to replace my breastfeeds with cows milk - I hope that makes sense I think I am rambing a bit.

    Also if Georgia is fully weaned can I still avoid giving cows milk if she is eating well?

    Salad, yes, there would still be no need for cows' milk as long as she is getting 3 serves of dairy a day, or equivalent calcium from other sources.
