    Breast milk storage...

What do you use? Are there any non expensive choices?
Or is there anything around the home to use? I only have 4 bottles (not even sure how they'll go in the frezzer TBH, anyone know?) & will be trying to express after every feed for a few weeks, but won't be giving her a bottle for a long time yet, we have enough problems!
So need long term storage. Or I could just give it to DS like I suggested the other day when I couldn't think of anything
    Cheers guys

The medela (or similar brand) bags are great and you can normally get them cheaper off eBay. The avent storage containers are also good but a bit exxy. A friend gave me all hers so I was lucky. Don't be tempted to use ziplock bags, the plastic is different.

An icecube tray? Plain old freezer bags? Although I know they're not really long term
You can also buy breastfeeding storage pouches from the chemist. I'm pretty sure they work out to be $1 per pouch, and can hold 200ml at a time.

I've got those avent freezer containers that I never really used.. ever. Actually I'm pretty sure there are about 3 in the sandpit as I type
I can post you a couple of them if you want. Just PM your addy

Might not be an option, but can the hospital near you and the LCs you've been seeing swing you any of the BM storage containers they have? When DD was in hospital they provided mums like me with little containers suitable for freezing, all for free. Can't hurt to ask really? Might be a stretch, but it might save you some $.

Other than that there is a website I'll PM you. A friend brought some trays for me that you freeze BM as iceblocks.

They're not the pee cups! LOL. The unit DD was in had Medela pumps and all the bits & pieces that attached to them. So they had their milk storage containers which we just took at our leisure to pump at home etc.

I'll check my stash tomorrow but I'm pretty sure I have a box of unused storage containers , the avent ones , that I'm happy to send you. I was too lazy to express and ds wouldn't take a bottle anyway! I'll pm you if I find them!

I just checked, I have an unopened Avent via set with 5 storage cups and the adaptor to attach a teat directly. I also have a ice tray thing that freezes the milk in sticks (opened but unused) I can send. I'm happy to send you both, they are just going to waste here. Pm me your address and I'll post next week
