BF also didn't work out for me and when I was pregnant again with my second, I did the same thing as you are probably doing - thinking about what went wrong and how to set yourself up for success. I think I even posted the same question about breast pumps!

For me, thinking about everything that happened and doing a class were the best thing for me. That being said, even though most people on this forum advised me that I was unlikely to need a pump I bought one anyway. It was like a safety blanket for me, knowing that if something went wrong at 3 am and it was needed, I had the tools to deal with it.

That being said, I sold it after only using it a few times as I didn't really need it at all!
