Due to my shocking ecezma i've decided to play it safe and not give DS any wheat or dairy (any other foods i should avoid)??
Only problem is that they seem to be in every dish i make for us, so that is out..
At the moment he has:
Breakfast: Farex with homemade pureed pear & apples (he eats a whole big bowl)
Lunch: If there is a little left over he will have that, and i normally end up just giving him more pear & apple with no farex...(He only has a small lunch otherwise he wont eat a big dinner & then doesn't sleep well)
During the afternoon he has fresh fruit as a snack
Dinner: i give him either pureed veggies, veggies with mince (doesn't like the mince so much), or mainly chicken soup or lamb soup which he loves
Somebody told me i shouldn't give him any fruit (fresh or pureed) as i given him a sweet tooth, i replied that he eats his veggies with just as much gusto, but still, they made me doubt myself.
Anyway, i would like to give him something perhaps a bit more balanced - does anyone have any suggestions for me??
Its hard because there is flour in almost everything...
Oh, and we keep kosher, so no ham/pork etc or anything involving meat & milk products mixed together.
He has 3 b/f a day and 1 overnight, although his morning one is a good feed, the rest he plays around a lot during so i don't know how much he gets before he tries to do headstands while feeding or backflip off me and then try to stand up to feed, and which point i say no-way!
