    Breastfeeding-friendly dress for wedding?

    Hey all

Any ideas where I can find a dress that I can comfortably breastfeed in that would be suitable for a wedding?

My little DS is refusing the bottle (several attempts, different people, different times of day, different locations, the only thing we didn't try differently was the type of bottle...) so we are going to have to take him with us to DH's cousin's wedding.

Biggest bummer is that I bought a spunky new dress but it is totally NOT ok to breastfeed in!

So I need a new dress! Needs to be easy for me to pop out the BB for a feed without me needing to retire to a bathroom or somewhere and getting undressed to feed.

But also needs to be snazzy enough for a fancy wedding!

    Help!!!!

When is the wedding? Is it possible DS may get that little bit older & take to a bottle by then?
If not I'd probably go for a skirt & top, may be easier to find a nice breastfeeding top rather than a dress. Sorry I'm not much help!

ETA - I have seen some really pretty tops & dresses in that catelouge that comes with the ABA magazine, the name escapes me though lol!

Oh thanks CM I hadn't thought of a skirt and top! Nor the Mothers Direct catalogue. Will check it out...

The wedding is in three weeks. He'll be four and a half months. Is that too early for a sippy cup?

I wear singlet strapped dresses that are adjustable straps and then just extend them and drop it over my shoulder. The only problem is bra straps. Good luck!

I found one at Target of all places for a wedding a couple of years ago. It had a v-neck and the cups were loose-ish with pleats so I could pull them down and feed. There are a lot of dresses around at the moment so you might just find something in the regular shops.

    Mothers Direct! That's it!

As for sippy cups, all I know is my DS wasn't interested in them at that age. Good luck!

When Iz was 7 mths old we went to a wedding and I found a dress at Jeans West of all places! I was able to slip it off my shoulder and feed her no worries! I also had a shawl over me that was good when it got cool, plus it was handy for feeds.
