I have a question, so I'll give kind of an overview of what we're doing, then see what you girls think

Sammy isn't feeding to sleep as much, he feeds then starts to wake up and fuss a bit, so I flip him onto his side and snuggle with him (which is how we co-sleep when that happens) and he drifts off. It takes longer though. We're down to 6 feeds a day from a gazillion. Still feeding overnight, usually once, although he does a every 2 hour wake up about twice a fortnight (oh how I love those nights, pfft).

SO, I'm thinking it's time to move him into his own room. I feel like he's confident and can handle it, and I'm feeling the need for some more space. Plus DH snores and it's waking DS. I did think about moving DH out, but he's capable of objecting more. And he'll stop making me dinner.

The thing is, although Sammy's not feeding to sleep as much during the day, I still feed him back to sleep at night, usually lying down. DH can get him back to sleep, but again it takes longer. And if he wakes before 5 we co-sleep, because experience has taught me that it's the only way he'll go back to sleep and I'm not a starting the day at 5am kind of person. Really not.

So, how do I go about this? I know that I want to do it, but really stuck as to how it happens. Anyone else have a breastfed, still waking at night, sometime co-sleeping bubba in their own room, who's used to feeding to sleep lying down?
