Wow, I never knew about the liver converting it to morphine. Seriously though, I always wondered why people would say codeine knocks them out when I take panadeine and don't feel an inkling of drowsiness, think there must be something wrong with my body, it converts it into constipation rather than morphine That's enough to limit my intake.
