This is a common dilemma hunUnfortunately there is no way of knowing when your cycles will return, and whether or not dropping night feeds will work for you. But as you have heard, the chances of your cycle returning when you stop feeding at night do increase. Especially after the 6 month mark, as solids replace some milk, so the quantity of breastmilk does gradually reduce from 6 months on. This also increases your chances. However with twins I would suspect it's more likely that AF will be delayed for longer - but then it's not an exact science.
It can't be an easy decision to makePerhaps you could see how you go at 6 months and then decide? Also weigh up how you will feel if you wean early and don't fall pg straight away. There are a lot of things to think about - I wish you all the best with making the decision
