Argh! I was reading this thread with interest, til I got to Barb's comment about once it's back, it's back
My DD threw a couple of all nighters early on (b/w 2 -3 months) and I got AF a few weeks later. Now she's waking every 2-3 hours each night. I think I went 6 months with both the boys and I'm really annoyed that she teased me with some all night sleeps and now they're nowhere in sight.

Sorry to hijack thread - but what was the info u had from aba BAL? My DS was night weaned (himself) at bout four months old and I still don't have period back. Not really concerned - but hubby does want to start thinking bout 2nd bub... Should I be concerned that it still hasn't returned after four months of night weaned?

He also only feeds five times through the day?

Minivini2b - Yes, when i was at the ABA meeting they were saying it could be hormonal issue if you had night weaned and bub was over 6 months old.. Maybe just go get some tests when you're thinking about trying again?

It's something you could follow up on - it may be that the issue is that you're still breastfeeding and you're one of those rare women who will not ovulate when breastfeeding.

Hi Minivini - you are fine. all normal. Enjoy! Your period doesn't "have to' come back just because you stop BF at night. MadB's babe is a lot older than yours.
