brestfeeding a vomiting 20 month old

DD woke up vomiting this morning, has done around 5 times, but seems to have stopped, she'd normally have brekky then a feed, no brekky (obviously) she also hasnt had a feed, she hasnt asked and i havent offered, should i offer? shes had some water, wont have the hydralyte though, she also usually feeds to sleep at lunchtime so should i leave it til them to offer a feed or offer one now?

I'd follow her lead hun.. if she's not feeling well she might not want a feed at all, keep up the water and maybe try again with the hydrolite.
Maybe offer at lunch or give her a big hug and ask if she wants some.. if she says no maybe don't force the issue.

Hope she's feeling better ASAP.. just keep up the water in the meantime

I'd offer, but wouldn't push it. DS was the same when younger - no food or water, no hydralyte, but he'd have his booby. I did have to offer though if he was really crook.

I have always done what ZF said and followed their lead. But every now and then I would offer a feed.

she had a few dry biscuits and then i gaver her her normal lunchtime feed, albeit a little shorter, shes been asleep for 2 hours so thats good!

How's she feeling today, hun? I'd always offer bb rather than water, because it's gentle and DD always seemed to keep it down and want the comfort after a vomit.

shes fine today, was fine but yesterday arvo how they bounce back so quickly amazes me!

Glad to hear! Yes, they do bounce back quite quickly. Even if they've been up during the night. You, on the other hand, probably need a nap!
