I know these aren't nappies, but I didn't know where else to put it..
How many would I need?
I am over buying the disposable ones that only get twisted and uncomfortable, and I am sick of wet patches on my tops

just subscribing to this thread, coz i too am looking into cloth ones..
also, (sorry to steal ur thread sweet) but,
is it worth going cloth? does it makes it easier?
and they are as obsorbent?
ta :)
I've got 8 pairs of Maz's breastpads (and have just ordered another pair) that seems to be enough..although I have run out on one or two occasions when I've been behind with the washing.
And YES it's worth going cloth...I can't believe the money I've wasted in the past on disposables. And in my opinion they are much more absorbent than the disposable ones.
I have about 10-12 pair of Maz's they are more than enough, and they're soooooo soft and scrummy
I have 4 from Obsidian Star and 2 coming from Maz. Hope to get more Mazzies though cz they have a great rep :)
Maz's are fantastic! You never have too many :)
I can noramally get away with about 6 pairs but im not a huge leaker once milk has settled.
i'm similar to Rayray - probably a dozen sets. they are so lush! i don't leak a lot any more but have very sensitive breasts from feeding - they feel so much more comfy when they're encased in Maz minky bp's!
 oh shucks girls
I actually found some of the first ones I had in my bedside cupboard the other day...oh they look terribel
I always made sure I had a spare pair in the glove box, in the nappy bag, in my handbag.
Try and work out how many pairs you use of your sposies a day and take it from there. I started wtih 5 and I ended up with about 15  dont forget you can wash them in the shower with you and hang them up to dry (which they do quickly)
I had 9 pairs of Maz's. That was plenty for me.
Much nicer than the plastic ones.
has to be cloth the savings are SOOOOO great and maz has some awesome breast cancer ones she has made unsure if some are still available but they look great (catching the drool i need a bib lol). but i would say 10 pairs at least. As ya dont want to run out.
I love that minky goodness on the girls. I had my first leak over the weekend and whipped out my maz minkys. So comfortable!!
I had (have) 6 pairs, but I was not a leaker... I used them for jic and comfort... So managed to get away with less.
Oh I really need some!! I have come to accept I am not going to stop leaking any time soon, lol.
I'm stalking my mailbox today waiting for my first pairs from Maz LOL! After reading everyone rave about them for so long I thought I'd better get me some! She's such a gem and she made and sent them straight away :D
I'm sure I'll be ordering more in the near future ;)
Yay! I just ordered 6 pairs of Maz's!!
hmmm.. all this talk of leaking and breast pads has caused me to leak  Good thing I am wearing DH's top and not mine.. hehe
or maybe it is just time for a feed, and the little man is asleep... :p
LOL heather me too!
I have them Heather - Tiggerlinda gave me some at my babyshower - and they are fabulous....
oh and I have 4 or 5 pairs now (I keep leaving them at friend's houses!)
just ordered some from Maz..
Woo I got my 2 Maz pairs today and I love em already!!
I have four or five pairs of Maz ones & bought some for friends that had babies recently, they love them too :) Definitely worth it.
Ok, this might sound silly...:redface:but ....:redface:I wore my Maz ones with the minky facing out, away from my bb because I found my milk dried and the nipple would get stuck to the minky and then it hurt to pull off! Wearing them the other way round was PERFECT!
So, which way are they SUPPOSED to be worn? Just out of interest?;)
minky is supposed to be on ur nipple but i suppose it u want u can wear them how ever u want i had no issues with sticking but i was using lansinoh for cracked nipples
Phwoar! Maz, why didn't I think of that?!:
dont forget you can wash them in the shower with you and hang them up to dry (which they do quickly)
That was me with bub #2...at about the 5 month mark I bit the bullet and brought some of Maz's...then absolutely kicked myself for not doing it sooner. Stocked up before bub arrived this time (I gave all of my original ones away because we weren't expecting #3!):
I have come to accept I am not going to stop leaking any time soon, lol.
Yay, I received them today.. Thanks Maz..
They are really comfy and even DH can notice a difference with them on vs the disposable ones. (don't think he has anything better to do than look at my bb's :p)
 glad taht they arrived and that DH notices that their doing their job ;)
Woot, I got mine yesterday too!! Haven't tried them yet, still drying, can't wait, they look even better in real life and soooooooooo soft!!
do you wash them before you use them? do they get looked after the same as teh cloth nappies.
im waiting for mine to arrive from maz :D
i got 4 pairs, but think i will need more, have started leaking slightly already especially after a shower
I LOVE mine! They are so pretty and so soft. And they last me all night which is so awesome! I was having to change disposable ones once or twice a night, Maz's ones are so much more absorbent :D.
Kaw - yes...wash them before use babe...and dont forget cause their made from bamboo..the more you wash them the more absorbent they become because bamboo reaches its most absorbentsy past 10 washes
ohhh cool. was going to but thought id ask lol
im off all week so guess what ill be doing and got to re wash all of tays nappies aswell and start using them again when she is home i think.
hi, i want to buy some reusable breast pads instead of the disposables. anyone know which ones are best and wheres the best place to get them?
