    Question colostrum and dry areolas

if i've posted this in the wrong spot mods feel free to move it.

I'm 22 weeks and my areolas are dry and at times ichy. i've also found i'm leaking a little already would this make things ichy as it drys? i also have a small cut just above the areola thanks to DS and pulling himself up on me - whilest i only hand a tank top on, would colostrum help that heal as i've found right as a scab has healed over it gets bumped and it starts all over again, i know BM helps with nipples when BFing so i was wondering if this would be the same?

i hope that made some sense...

I remember being itchy everywhere later in pregnancy and being told that it just happens to some people.
However, just areolas is a bit odd. Have you tried lansinoh - it would at least fix the dryness and help protect the cut a bit. BM helps with some infections - it wouldn't hurt to try - but you are supposed to let it dry, which if you're leaky may be a bit of a challenge.
And if that doesn't work then you may want to see your GP and get a swab for a potential infection or thrush.

    good luck!
