DD1 took a while to get used to it and she was 9 weeks when we gave her one.

DD2 is still spitting it out and only takes it for a short time anyway, and takes her a while to take it, we just jiggle it, move it in and out a bit, because after she feeds she is really windy and is chucking up a lot, but wanting to suck, so we think she would get some relief sucking on it while we burp her, but she's not doing it

Give her time, it does take a while to get it, and if the cherry shape doesn't work you can try another shape, cherry shape doesn't work for our girls

DD wouldn't take a dummy at all until she stopped BF

DS has the tommee tippee closer to nature ones because they are the same as the bottles we use when he has EBM

Just saw this thread now. I tried everything to get M to take a dummy and she just never took to it! I bought so many different types and brands and tried so many different ways of getting her to use one. But nothing worked. Hopefully A will learn to like one.
