Awww so sweet hun!! Have been thinking about you a lot this past week. Hope you are doing ok and I agree that finding those moments of joy does help us refocus and help through the grief and pain xoxoxo![]()
Been a struggle, these past few weeks, to find the moments of joy. When I find them, I hold them close. Had a beautiful one just before...
I was giving DS a feed before, before bed, DD had done a good job on the toilet so DH gave her some chocolate as a reward. She comes in and says "Mummy I want to share with you and DS!" Which is lovely in itself, we have been trying to teach her about sharing for a while! But her timing was pretty bad as DS was feeding and heard her and all of a sudden wants chocolate instead of milk!
So I sent her off to Daddy, told DS he could go back on or have nothing, at which point he had a mini tantrum. So I thought a switch might help, put him on the other side... that calmed him down and he fed happily for a bit...
Then, he pulled off and looked up at me with a contended milky smile and eyes half asleep, pats the boobie and says "Fffffshhhd". I say "Finished?" and he nods and closes his eyes.
Aww. Gotta love them! (Boobies and babies that is!)
